Welcome to SubMIR, a database for (sub)millimeter and infrared galaxy data.

This database gathers processed data on nearby galaxies obtained with the Caltech Submillimeter Observatory (CSO), the IRAM 30m telescope, the IRAM plateau de Bure telescope and the Infrared Space Observatory (ISO). The CSO data have been published in Bayet et al. (2004, Astronomy and Astrophysics, 427, 45-59). Please refer to this paper for the data processing.

For each observations, the processed data at various stages of data processing together with ascii tables summarizing the line intensities are accessible. Bibliographic references on the objects can also be found. The search engine allows searches with various criteria (source name/position, line name/frequency, etc.)
